Beamish Hall Hotel
If you are from the North East then I am sure that you will have heard of Beamish Hall Hotel, they have some beautiful rooms for weddings and receptions and also some amazing bedrooms for the wedding party to stay over.
The hotel is family owned and based in Beamish, Durham; they have been welcoming guests to the hotel for over 15 years. As I mentioned before, the hotel has individually decorated bedrooms, 43 of them to be exact! They have a bar & restaurant, The Stables, for visitors to eat at, serving traditional fresh food and real ales, wines and cocktails; their Eden Tearooms off afternoon tea within Edwardian Surroundings.
Beamish Hall Hotel is surrounded by 24 acres of parklands and has some of the most elegant rooms in the North East. They have the Monboucher room which has stunning bay windows that overlook the parklands, making this a beautiful backdrop for a very special day; this room also still has a lot of its original features.
There is also the Shafto Hall which is a fabulous suite, perfectly suited for a vintage look with different decor and lighting options. This suite can seat a maximum of 120 guests for a lovely wedding breakfast. Winter Gardens is another breath taking suite that has a stunning terrace with super large windows that are again looking over the grounds. This suite can hold a maximum of 280 guests for breakfast and up to 300 for an evening do.
If you are wanting something elegant but not too extravagant there is the Common Room. This is suited more for civil marriages or smaller wedding receptions. This room can hold a maximum of 70 guests for a ceremony.
Even though we do not get nice weather very often in the UK, there is also an option to do outside ceremonies. The gorgeous Winter Gardens Terrace can accommodate up to 120 guests.
