Wedding trends 2021
As you will be well aware I’m sure that trends for 2021 weddings will be influenced by the current climate. As we have been stuck in our homes for so long and not able to hug or even spend time with some of our family members a lot of the trends for this year so far is having a little intimate wedding with close family or the exact opposite and having the biggest wedding and going all out after so much time indoors. I think these trends illustrate the two different personalities of brides, this pandemic has made people want to be more tight knit with their families and treasure what they have and others want to celebrate being able to do this and go big; neither is wrong and both weddings will be just as amazing as the other.
Acts of gratitude
It is very easy to add acts of thank you into your wedding day. Though it could be time-consuming, a personal note to each guest will be seen as a hugely meaningful gesture. Smaller things could include baking little ‘thank you’ biscuits for each guest, or hiring one or two babysitters to look after young guests during dinner and speeches and into the evening – this is the perfect way to give parents a well deserved break.
Back to traditions
Experts believe that weddings may go back to their traditional style: making it easier to make treasured memories with friends and family; this could also range from timeless dresses to nostalgic fragrances and traditional speeches.
Pastel vibes
People believe that having pastel colours results in having a cool, calm and relaxed yet personal wedding vibe. Such as gorgeous lilac, pastel pink, yellow and peach, with a pop of colour such as orange or coral.
Full on glam
After being stuck in the house with scruffy buns, joggers and a fresh face; your wedding day is the best day to go full on Hollywood glam and show everyone how amazing you can look! Wedding experts predict that we will see lots of hair accessories adorned with sparkles or pearls, chandelier earrings and statement necklaces. You should expect to see photo-perfect hair and makeup as we make up for lost photo opportunities while there’s a professional photographer around; to help us to create memories to last a lifetime.
